New Years Resolutions

Do you have a New Year's resolution?  New Year’s Resolutions have been made since 2000 B.C. Although the types of resolutions we make have changed with our lifestyle they are made in effort of self-improvement.  If you don’t have one yet think of some things you would like to make better, whether it be something about yourself or maybe you want to make changes in the community in which you live.  Let us know what your resolution is…

Angel Tree

Well we have been working hard selling Hot Chocolate and other beverages in order to raise money.  We were asked by Mrs. Wallace if there was something we could to do to help sponsor an angel from the angel tree.  Well our class and another 3rd grade class rose to the occasion and were able to sponsor 10 angels from the tree!  Today we wrapped them and delivered them the counselor at the elementary school.  Sure felt good to do such a nice thing!

Fair and Rodeo Slideshow

This is what our students did over the last week.  We are very proud of them.  They work hard all year to show their animals.  Some also enjoyed the fair.  This year’s fair was the BEST EVER!!  San Jacinto County Fair and Rodeo Committee did an awesome job putting things together and it shows on the faces of the kids who attended!!

Intro to Blogging

Hello World,

Our class is a bright young group of 9-10 year old boys and girls.  We are in the wonderful state of Texas, where everything is bigger.  Our focus this year is to become better writers.  Our teacher has joined Quad blogging and we are hoping that we can get in a group this year.  We would love to hear from students in other countries.  We will also be learning a lot about Texas so we will be happy to share that information with y'all as well.

Texas, Our Texas
